Presented by Jay Berkowitz, Risk Management Consultant, InterWest Insurance Services
This session will focus on how to create a high performance “Safety Culture” in the workplace. We will explore the common traits of high performance safety cultures and how organizations have used effective communication strategies and one-on-one coaching to promote accountability and behavior change.
During the session we will provide practical concepts and tools that can be implemented immediately, including communication strategies designed to empower employees, build trust, and create stronger leaders. We’ll also discuss how to define, implement and measure quality interactions between supervisors and employees, and how to use “safety” as a means to maintain high standards while improving employee relations and increasing productivity.
